Collection Development & Management: Gifts

Accepting gift material supplements purchasing and augments the library's collection. However, the acceptance of gift material is determined not only by the appropriateness of the item for an academic library but also by other collection development Policy Guidelines.

No appraisals are performed or paid by the library and Falvey Library reserves the right to dispose of gift materials that are not incorporated into the collection.

Although library hours of operation are extended at night and on weekends, contact the Collection Development & Management department between 8:00 - 4:00 Monday - Friday for additional information about gift selection and processing.
