Collection Development & Management

This department seeks to coordinate all activities that relate to increasing and improving the quality of the existing library collection. Guided by the programmatic needs of the university, Collection Development attempts to define the policies that govern the appropriateness of the collection. Falvey Memorial Library's collection development policy seeks to identify collection strengths and weaknesses as well as to assess and oversee the future direction and growth of the collection.

Although library hours of operation are extended at night and on weekends, contact the Collection Development & Management department between 8:00 - 4:00 Monday - Friday for additional information.
